Pope Francis and the Family
Veritas has recently published a small book which is a compilation of Pope Francis’ reflections, homilies and messages on the subject of the family, translated by the US Conference of Catholic Bishops. It will be of particular interest to anyone engaged with family life – parents, grandparents, teachers, parish committees etc. The book is available at €9.99 and currently Veritas are offering a 20% discount. “ The children’s special needs charity Sólás has a number of volunteering opportunities, for Retired Teachers, to provide 1:1 support to children, with additional educational needs, in primary schools in West, North and South Belfast. One morning per week, during term time, is required and full induction and ongoing support will be provided. Concert for the 5th Centenary of the Birth of St Teresa of Avila
To celebrate the Anniversary of the birth of St Teresa of Avila Cappella Caeciliana will perform a concert in the Church of St Teresa of Avila, Glen Road, Belfast on Sunday 20th September 2015, 3.00pm.

Faith and Life Convention
Bishop Treanor invites you to attend our second Faith and Life Convention on Saturday 26th September 2015 in Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock, Belfast beginning at 10am.
This year our Keynote Speaker will be Fr Brendan Comerford SJ. He will speak to us on the theme: What hope for faith?
