PARISH HALL NEWS

St Agnes’ Mother and Toddler Group Would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused to all our parents, mothers, and grandparents as we are in the process of moving to the new Parish Centre. Unfortunately we are unable to give a starting date for our Tuesday session at this time. Please could we ask you to be patient and watch the bulletin for further notice.

Keep fit, Yoga, Irish dancing, Set dancing, and Seniors Teas will continue to take place in the old Parish Centre as usual from 7th September until further notice. For more information contact the Parish office on 02890 615702

NEW SINGERS REQUIRED St Agnes’ Senior Choir requires some new singers.  If you would like to join we sing at the 12.30pm Mass each Sunday. A warm welcome awaits you. Thank you.

ST AGNES’ WALKING CLUB

The AGM will take place on Tuesday 15th September at 7.30 pm in St Agnes’ Parish Centre.

New members are offered the opportunity to sample three walks free of charge before paying the annual membership fee of £5 per annum which is collected at our AGM in September.  We meet every Saturday morning at 10.30 am and every Monday evening at 6.15pm at Andersonstown Leisure Centre.  The walker should wear comfortable clothes and suitable shoes that are appropriate to the weather conditions.  New members welcome!

What’s on Locally…

Pathways

Enrol now for 2015-2017 intake.  Pathways is a broad-based adult faith development course which explores spirituality, theology and prayer.  Now in its tenth year, Pathways is geared towards those who want to reflect about life, faith and relationships with God and others. The course takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Drumalis in Larne. No academic qualifications are necessary and there is no coursework attached.

Concert for the 5th Centenary of the Birth of St Teresa of Avila

To celebrate the Anniversary of the birth of St Teresa of Avila Cappella Caeciliana will perform a concert in the Church of St Teresa of Avila, Glen Road, Belfast on Sunday 20th September 2015, 3.00pm.

Tickets £10 can be purchased online, from choir members, from the parish office, and from Matchetts (6 Wellington Place)

Faith and Life Convention

Bishop Treanor invites you to attend our second Faith and Life Convention on Saturday 26th September 2015 in Our Lady and St Patrick’s College, Knock, Belfast beginning at 10am.

This year our Keynote Speaker will be Fr Brendan Comerford SJ.  He will speak to us on the theme: What hope for faith?
