Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise Collection amounted to £2058.00

The collection for the Education of Student Priests amounted to £785.00 Many thanks to all who contributed.

Month’s Mind Mass for Sister Clare Maguire SSL will be held on Sunday 31st May at 10am in St Michael’s Church Finaghy Road North. All former colleagues, pupils and friends welcome.

The Special Ministers of Holy Communion will meet on Wednesday 3rd June at 7pm upstairs in the Parish Centre.

What’s on Locally…

WORLD YOUTH DAY 2016: founded by Saint John Paul II, is the largest gathering of its kind in the world. It is celebrated every three years, each year moving to a different country, with the Pope presiding over the event. WYD is an excellent opportunity for young people from across Ireland to come together, in fellowship, with other young Catholics from around the world, to share and engage in their faith. Next year, WYD will be held in Kraków, Poland from 24-31 July 2016.

Living Church Down & Connor Lough Derg Pilgrimage. The third Living Church Lough Derg 3 day Pilgrimage will take place this year from Fri 3rd July to Sun 5th July 2015. The pilgrimage will be the traditional three day format. Those who took part in the pilgrimage over the last few years spoke of the many blessings they received from being on the island of Lough Derg, as countless people have throughout the years. There is quietness and deep spirituality to be found there that is very special. Please consider coming along this year. The cost of the pilgrimage is £60.
