Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise Collection amounted to £2528.00

Thank you for your generous financial support.

There will be a priest available for confession after all Masses today.

The Parish Office will be closed Good Friday, Easter Monday and Tuesday.

Parish Hall will be closed  Easter Week and will reopen Monday 4th April

Annual Easter Pilgrimage to Lourdes

The leaders and young people of St Agnes’ Youth Club who organised the Church Door Collection last weekend would like to thank the parishioners for their great generosity in helping to raise £2,294.44. These funds will cover the cost of sending a number of sick parishioners and their helpers to Lourdes this Easter. The organisers would like to thank everyone involved at the weekend and we assure you that you will be remembered in our prayers in Lourdes Go raibh mile maith agaibh

TOBAR MHUIRE: The year 2016 is marked by a number of significant events. Pope Francis has declared a Year of Mercy; we also commemorate the Easter Rising of 1916, and the Battle of the Somme. Tobar Mhuire will look at the significance of all these events.

Tuesday 22nd  March: The Role of the Passionists in the 1916 Easter Rising.

Based on eye-witness accounts from Passionists at the time, and the use video and song.

This talk will explore the particular role played by the Passionists, based in Mount Argus in the Rising and its aftermath.
