Why not take this opportunity to perhaps help yourself or someone you know with an alcohol or drug problem by offering your sacrifice for freedom from addiction? Please consider taking the short term Lenten Pledge and make a difference to someone&#8217;s life. Register your pledge with local Pioneers and say the daily prayer.<\/p>\n<p><b>PRAYER:&#8221;<\/b> I promise in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary to abstain from all alcoholic drink during Lent.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK <\/b>In this Holy season of Lent why not join us by offering a one day pilgrimage to Knock in honour of St Joseph on his Feast Day 19th March 2019. This is a secluded and well tended parish graveyard in the countryside just outside Glenavy village, 20 minutes west of the city<\/p>\n<p>The burial ground is described as a &#8216;Graveyard&#8217; as opposed to a &#8216;Cemetery&#8217; since it is attached to St Joseph&#8217;s Church. The cost of the burial right will be similar to that of Milltown Cemetery and reflects that purchasers are not, or are not expected to become contributing members of the local parish community.\u00a0Each grave will accommodate up to three interments and are priced at \u00a33,000.
