DARKNESS INTO LIGHT<\/b> \u2013 <\/b>Exciting news to announce!!\u00a0 Hannahstown Community Association and L\u00e1mh Dhearg C.L.G will be hosting its second Darkness into Light event on Saturday 12th<\/sup> May 2018. On the morning of the event we will begin a 5k walk @ 4.15am together in darkness from L\u00e1mh Dhearg club and walk a circular route finishing back at the L\u00e1mh Dhearg in the light as the sun rises.\u00a0 Therefore walking from \u2018darkness into light\u2019.\u00a0 Each participant will be welcomed back with refreshments in the clubrooms.\u00a0 It will be an absolutely enthralling experience attracting many people from all communities to walk together spreading a positive message of hope and support.\u00a0 Darkness into Light began in 2009 the first walk taking place in Phoenix Park and has since become a worldwide movement raising awareness for depression, suicide and self-harm.\u00a0 Apart from raising funds for a local mental health charity the main purpose of the walk is to gather together and become a message of HOPE.\u00a0 We are confident that our club members and local community will positively support and participate in this unique but exciting initiative.\u00a0 You can register online at https:\/\/dil.pieta.ie<\/b><\/a> with each participant receiving a Darkness into Light T-Shirt.<\/p>\n WORLD MEETING OF FAMILIES 2018<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n COUNTDOWN IS ON: 135 DAYS TO GO<\/i><\/p>\n HOLY SHOP <\/b>First Communion gifts, prayer books, rosaries, and accessories are\u00a0 available in our convent shop, St Joseph’s, at very reasonable prices.\u00a0 We also carry a range of items for baptism, confirmation, prayer cards, candles icons, the nursery and Catholic Children’s books.
