The Annual Collection for Sick & Retired Priests<\/b> was taken up last weekend. The collection is given over to the Provident Fund which looks after the needs of the sick and retired priests in our diocese; particularly those who are still in priestly ministry and who may be in need of medical care or an urgent operation. The Provident Fund also assists those priests who retired from active ministry and are still living in the diocese. Finally, it also contributes toward the care of those priests who are living in residential care in Our Lady\u2019s Home in Beechmount, Nazareth Care Village and elsewhere. Your generosity towards this collection is much appreciated\u201d.<\/p>\n
