We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all parishioners who attended and participated in the Vigil Mass last Saturday, which was recorded for broadcast on Sunday. Your presence, prayerful responses, and cooperation helped to create a warm,\u00a0 and welcoming atmosphere for all those who joined us through the radio. We are especially grateful for your punctuality and understanding of the arrangements required for the recording. Your support ensured that everything ran smoothly and reflected the true spirit of our parish community. We also wish to express our thanks to the BBC team for their professionalism and care in recording and sharing this celebration with a wider community. It was a wonderful opportunity to share this special celebration with those unable to be with us in person, and this would not have been possible without everyone\u2019s involvement. Thank you once again for being part of this special occasion.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Message from Blackthorn Productions:\u00a0<\/span><\/span> Just a quick note from Blackthorn Productions to thank you and all those involved at St Agnes\u2019 for the work that went into Saturday evening\u2019s recording of BBC Radio Ulster\u2019s Morning Service. There\u2019s a lot of effort behind the scenes that our team don\u2019t see to coordinate everyone on the ground and make these kind of broadcasts possible. Particular thanks to Vincent, the readers, and the great music from St Agnes\u2019 folk group and the De La Salle school trad group which added to the worship.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0PARISH CENSUS<\/span> This year, the Parish Census will take place next weekend\u00a0 9th & 10th May. As part of the Annual Parish Census, you will be asked to select a BLUE (male) or RED (female) token and place it in a basket relevant to your age. Volunteers will be on hand to assist and direct you should you need any help. This information will only be shared with Down & Connor. We would really appreciate your participation in the parish census, as this information is invaluable to the parish. Many thanks.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0First Holy Communion<\/span> Will be celebrated Saturday 16th May @11am. Due to the First Holy Communion there will be no 1pm Mass and confessions. Confessions will be as normal at 5.45-6.15pm .<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

A SPECIAL MASS<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0 Organized by St John\u2019s Parish in Falls Road, Belfast, dedicated to students preparing for exams. Taking place on Sunday 3rd May at 7:00 pm, the event offers a supportive and reflective space where the community gathers to pray for students during a stressful time. In addition to the Mass, there will be refreshments afterwards, including tea and coffee provided through a community initiative connected to Rwanda, as well as an update from Tr\u00f3caire about their work. The event also highlights a Lenten fundraising achievement by young people in the parish. Come. Pray Support Together. All Welcome!!!<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

ALL IRELAND ROSARY RALLY <\/span><\/strong>On Sat may 16th, 2026 you are invited to stand as a public witness of our faith.
