GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION<\/span> The annual collection for the welfare of Christians in the Holy Land will be taken up during the Liturgy of the Passion on Good Friday.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

P5 PASSION PLAY<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

You are warmly invited to attend the Primary 5 Passion Play 2026, taking place on Tuesday, 31st March at 2pm\u00a0 here in St Agnes\u2019.\u00a0 Our Primary 5 students will present a meaningful retelling of the Passion, and we welcome all family members, friends, and parishioners to join us for this special occasion. SYCAMORE<\/span>\u00a0What do you believe?\u00a0 The Black Mountain Family of Parishes continues with the series of presentations for those interested in learning more about the Catholic Faith this Lent. Everyone is welcome\u00a0to the final Wednesday\u00a0meeting in\u00a0St Teresa\u2019s Parish Centre\u00a0 starting with a cup of tea at 7pm.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Volunteer Needed<\/span> Ideally a young person studying IT \u2014 to help update our website and social media with parish news and events. This involves light, occasional online updates and is a great way to gain practical experience. If interested, please contact the Parish Office and leave your details for the Parish Pastoral Council.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Chrism Mass<\/span> will be celebrated this Wednesday 1 April at 12 noon in St Peter\u2019s Cathedral Belfast.\u00a0This Mass is a celebration of the entire Christian Community in Down & Connor.\u00a0 Bishop Alan extends an invitation to all the faithful to attend as a family in faith gathered with the Bishop, priests and deacons of the Diocese.\u00a0 United by Baptism as the children of God, we will celebrate our shared call to serve the Lord.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FEAST OF DIVINE MERCY<\/span> Sunday, 12th April 2026 St. Peter\u2019s Cathedral, Belfast (2:30pm); and Sacred Heart Church, North Belfast (2:15pm) \u00a0(Rosary, Divine Mercy Chaplet & Holy Mass)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Good Friday Falls\/Shankill Annual Inter-Church Prayer Walk<\/span>\u00a0– will take place on Good Friday 3rd April, beginning at 4.45pm in front of Clonard Church, stopping midway at Shankill Methodist for a brief prayer, and returning to Clonard by 6pm. At this precarious time in our world, we commit ourselves once again – in the footsteps of Jesus – to His ministry of reconciliation and peace. All are welcome.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
