Give each one of us a heart like the Heart of Jesus, with compassion, generosity and courage for all that is ahead. At this time of hope and renewal, guide conversations, inspire ideas, and let us all be attentive to your call to evangelise and to the new pathways that emerge.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0Make us bold witnesses to your love who walk faithfully with Jesus as his intentional disciples. Unite us in mission, so that our parishes become places of welcome, encounter and renewal.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

May this time of listening, learning and reflection bear lasting fruits within our Families of Parishes, our Diocese and beyond. WHAT’S ON…<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

SMA MISSION APPEAL\u00a0Fr. Tommy Faherty, a priest with the Society of African Missions (SMA) will be speaking at all Sunday Parish Masses on the weekend of 19 & 20 July. This is part of the SMA Mission Awareness programme. Fr Tommy will talk about the work of the SMA and\u00a0 a second collection will be taken up after Holy Communion. Envelopes will be made available for those wishing to make a donation. These can be returned to the Parish the following weekend. We look forward to welcoming Fr Tommy to our Parish and this opportunity to support the mission of the SMA across the world.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

CARER SUPPORT<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Do you care for someone? Do you feel you need support or advice?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Ballyowen Health Centre is hosting a Carer Support Information Day on 16\/07\/2025 from 09.30am Representatives from the Health Trusts will be available to assist you with information and guidance, to support you in your role as a Carer.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

PILGRIMAGE The diocesan pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes, Moneyglass, will take place on Sunday 10th August at 3pm. Beginning at St. Ergnats GAA Taylorstown Road, the pilgrimage will make its way to the National Shrine in the parish of Duneane and will conclude with Benediction and light refreshments. <\/span><\/strong>All are welcome.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

THE ANNUAL PIONEER PILGRIMAGE to Knock Shrine will take place on Sunday 20 July. LIGHT THE FIRE AT SLANE ON SUNDAY 3 AUGUST IN THE SPIRIT OF ST PATRICK!!\u00a0 A special mass will be celebrated at the Hill of Slane. In the Spirit of St Patrick all parishioners and families and youth from across Ireland are invited to gather at the Hill of Slane, County Meath for a “Light the Fire” praise and worship, rosary, mass, and healing service. Everyone and all ages are very welcome!! The bus leaves at 10am sharp from St Michael The Archangel Church on Sunday 3rd August, with a short stop at the Applegreen, arriving approx. 12 noon\u00a0 at Slane. The bus will leave approx. 4.30pm\/5pm with a short stop at the Applegreen and arrive back hopefully by 7pm-7.30pm.
