Parish Pastoral Councils training:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As we move forward with the reconstitution and formation of our Parish Pastoral Councils (PPC), I would like to invite parishioners interested in becoming part of the PPC to the following information evening.\u00a0 Tuesday 28th<\/sup> January 7pm -9 pm.\u00a0 Tea\/coffee served from 6:30 pm.\u00a0 Venue:\u00a0\u00a0St Teresa\u2019s Parish Centre, Glen Road Belfast Tea\/coffee served from 6:30 pm the meeting will begin promptly at 7pm This evening session will provide an overview of the context, role, and responsibilities of a PPC. It will also explore the gifts, skills, and qualities required to be a PPC member. These sessions will help those who may be interested in this leadership role to understand what it entails and to discern if this is a role for them in the life of their Parish. Please contact the Parish Office to note your interest in attending this meeting. <\/span>Leaflets with full programme are available in the Church<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Holy Child Primary School and de la salle college \u2013 recipients of the Spirit of Catholic Education Award 2025<\/span><\/span> To mark Catholic Schools\u2019 Week, the Diocese of Down and Connor paid tribute to the inspiring work of twenty schools from across the diocese by awarding them with the prestigious\u00a0Spirit of Catholic Education Award 2025. <\/i>This year, it is our \u00a0pleasure to announce that two of our parish schools, Holy Child Primary and De La Salle College were among the award-winning schools at a special ceremony in St Mary\u2019s University College on 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0January. We send our warmest congratulations to all the staff of Holy Child and De La Salle who are representative of how teachers across the diocese monitor, evaluate, review and embed an ongoing commitment to living out the Spirit of Catholic Education.\u00a0 Well done to everyone!!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

MATT TALBOT RELICS\u00a0 The order of the Knights of St Columbanus are honoured, to have been appointed custodians of the Relics of Venerable Matt Talbot, as they journey to Cathedrals and Churches throughout the various Dioceses of Ireland. This Mass will take place in St Peter\u2019s Cathedral on February 3rd at 7.30pm.\u00a0 The relics of Ven. Matt Talbot shall be available for Veneration from 5pm and after Mass concluding with night prayer at 10pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
