St Michael\u2019s Parish<\/span> <\/b>Mass Monday \u2013 Friday 7.00am & 10am Also, 7pm Mass on Wednesday evening Sunday evening adoration 6.30 – 7.30pm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

St Teresa\u2019s Parish <\/b><\/span>Daily reflections at Mass. Stations of the Cross before 10am Friday Mass. St Oliver Plunkett Parish <\/b><\/span>Each Thursday during Lent, we will have a 10am Mass. Each Friday, the Stations of the Cross at 7pm (before 7.30pm Mass)<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Walking with Jesus along the Via Dolorosa;<\/span>The actual word, \u2018Via Dolorosa\u2019 is Latin for \u2018Sorrowful Way\u2019, commonly translated as \u2018Way of Suffering\u2019. It is traditionally believed to be the route taken by Jesus as he carried the Cross towards Calvary. The Living Church Office has prepared this prayer resource for parish use during Lent over 5 weekly sessions. It will continue in\u00a0St Agnes’ Church this Fri 8th March @ 7pm\u00a0and conclude on\u00a0Friday 22nd<\/sup>\u00a0March, just before the start of Holy Week. Each session will include time for prayer and reflection, Gospel reading, a decade of a scriptural rosary, and a Lenten Mission suggestion. All sessions will be streamed online. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to make this part of their Lenten programme.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FIRST CONFESSIONS will take place on Wednesday 6th March at 1pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>BAPTISM COURSE have now resumed and are compulsory for first time parents. The course will take approximately one hour and both parents are expected to attend. The next course will take place in\u00a0 St Agnes\u2019 on Wednesday 13th March at 7.30pm in our Parish <\/span><\/strong>Centre. Full information will be given when you book a baptism for your child. Thank you.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

PERMANENT DIACONATE <\/span>Information evenings for those wishing to explore the Permanent Diaconate or to hear more about the work of permanent deacons will take place in Downpatrick on 7th March at 7.30pm in the Parochial House beside St Patrick\u2019s Church. Also, at All Saints\u2019 Church Broughshane Road Ballymena on 12th March at 7.30 pm. And finally at St Brigid\u2019s Church in the Parochial Hall, Derryvolgie Avenue Belfast on 20th March 2024 at 7.30pm. Further relevant information can be found on the Diocesan website https:\/\/www.downandconnor.org\/living-church\/diaconate\/ It is hoped to commence a propaedeutic year of discernment in September 2024. Expressions of Interest forms will be issued by email to those who have responded to this announcement and the formal application and interview process will commence, with a view to completion in June 2024.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
