\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>BAPTISM COURSE<\/span> During Covid, baptism courses were stopped. They have now resumed and are compulsory for first time parents. The course will take approximately one hour and both parents are expected to attend. The courses will take place in different parish churches within our vicariate. St Agnes\u2019 Baptism course will take place on Wednesday 13th March at 7pm in our Parish Centre. Full information will be given when you book a baptism for your child. Thank you.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FEAST OF ST AGNES\u2019<\/span> We celebrate the Feast of St Agnes\u2019 in January. To remember her and to ask for her intercession there will be an afternoon of Eucharistic Adoration from 3pm to 6pm ending with Benediction in St Agnes\u2019 on Sunday 21st January. Everyone welcome. Enrichment Program for New and Existing\u00a0 Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Living Church Office is offering an enrichment program for new and existing Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion in our Vicariate this January\/February.\u00a0 The program is called,\u00a0Eucharist \u2013 Food for the Journey,\u00a0<\/i>and will be facilitated by Fr Paul Byrne and Aishling Steen.\u00a0\u00a0The program has a blended approach of an online session, followed by an in-person enrichment day. The 90-minute online session enables Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion to gather in\u00a0a\u00a0time friendly and convenient way to refresh their catechetical knowledge and the enrichment day allows us to take time out to nourish ourselves and our ministry.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The first part of the program will take place\u00a0online via zoom on Tuesday 30th<\/sup>\u00a0January 7:00-8:30pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The in-person enrichment day will take place on\u00a0Saturday 3rd<\/sup>\u00a0February 10:00 am \u2013 3:30 pm Venue:\u00a0 St Teresa\u2019s Parish Hall, Glen Road<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4 Corners Festival 2024:<\/span><\/strong> The annual 4 Corners Festival will run from 1st – 11th February. There is a packed lineup of events including talks, discussions, exhibitions, music and literature. Now in its 12th year, the festival was conceived as a way to inspire people from across the city to transform it for the peace and wellbeing of all. The theme this year is \u201cOUR STORIES\u2026Towards A Culture Of Hope.\u201d All festival events are free of charge, with most open to the public, although advance booking of tickets is mandatory.
