The Season of Creation <\/mark>begins 1 September, the World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, and ends 4 October, the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology. During this season the Christian family unites for a worldwide celebration of prayer and action to protect our common home. As followers of Christ from around the globe, we share a common call to care for creation. Our wellbeing is interwoven with the wellbeing of the earth. This year, the theme for the season is \u2018Let Justice and Peace flow\u2019, with the symbol of A Mighty River.
