Lough Derg 2023<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Living Church Office are organising a three-day pilgrimage to Lough Derg. The Pilgrimage will be led by Jim Deeds. Dates Friday 30th<\/sup> June \u2013 Sunday 2nd<\/sup> July 2023. POETRY AND PRAYERS \u2013 A MONASTIC TRAIL AROUND LOUGH NEAGH<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are pleased to announce that we have a tour available for public booking for this new spiritual tour, <\/mark><\/strong>led by Jim Deeds and Christine Doherty. The date is April 29th 2023.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here\u2019s what Tourism NI say about the tour,<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEscape the day-to-day and discover a series of fascinating stories along the shores of the mystical Lough Neagh. You\u2019ll be invited to ponder spiritual themes with poetry and prayer bringing a serenity to the journey.\u201d<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

This one day experience has 4 stop off points in total \u2013 Antrim Round Tower, Cranfield Old Church and Holy Well, Ardboe Stone Cross, Benburb Priory \u2013 and while participants will travel between them by coach, the<\/mark><\/strong>re will be a little walking so good shoes and clothes appropriate to the weather on the day are a must.<\/strong><\/mark><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cost per person is \u00a380, inclusive of coach transfer to and between 3 Monastic sites, tea\/coffee at the Lock Keeper\u2019s Cottage in Toomebridge, evening meal in Benburb Priory, historic information and spiritual guidance.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
