PRAYER FOR OUR PARISH<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Advent marks a New Church Year and a time for resolutions. I invite all parishioners to pray this Advent for our Parish as we begin a New Year as a Parish family. After Christmas we will be looking for people to help with Parish Ministry and to build up our Parish community as we emerge from COVID and begin planning for the future along with the rest of our Diocese. But to guide those plans may this Advent be a time of prayerful reflection so that God will awaken in us his way forward and his plans for all of us in our local Church community. St Agnes pray for us.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

BAMBINELLI SUNDAY<\/strong>: <\/mark>All parishioners attending Mass in St Agnes\u2019 this weekend, 10th<\/sup>\/11th<\/sup>\u00a0December, to mark the 3rd Sunday of Advent are invited to bring along a figurine of the Baby Jesus which will be blessed at Mass by Fr Raymond. Then they\u2019re invited to take it home, wrap it up in Christmas paper and place it under the Christmas tree. On Christmas morning the \u2018Bambinello\u2019 is to be unwrapped and placed in the crib, connecting the Nativity set at home, and the Church where we worship each week. It also reminds us that the baby Jesus is the best present we can receive at Christmas.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
