PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

DEPARTED<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

FOR NOVEMBER<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Out of the depths I cry to you O Lord, Lord, hear my voice!<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

O let your ears be attentive to the voice of my pleading.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you, O Lord should mark our guilt, Lord who would survive?<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

But with you is found forgiveness; for this we revere you.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My soul is waiting for the Lord.  I count on His word.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My soul is longing for the Lord more than the watchman for daybreak.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

(Let the watchman count on daybreak and Israel on the Lord).<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because, with the Lord there is mercy and fullness of redemption.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Israel indeed He will redeem for all its iniquity.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

v\u2013 Eternal rest grant to them O Lord<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

r \u2013 And let perpetual light shine upon them<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

v \u2013 May they rest in peace<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

r \u2013 Amen<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

v \u2013 O Lord, hear my prayer<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let us pray, O God, the Creator and Redeemer of all the faithful,<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

grant to the souls of your servants departed the remission of all their sins,<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

that through our fervent prayer they may obtain that pardon<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

which they have always desired; who live and reign forever and ever.<\/mark><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The West Belfast Historical Society <\/mark>is meeting on Friday the 11th of November at 7.30pm in St. Michael’s Parish Centre on Finaghy Road North (Access via Church Gateway on Finaghy Road North, just before the garage opposite the Church at junction with Andersonstown Road) The November talk is entitled “ST. Pilgrimage of Padre Pio Relics to Down & Connor <\/mark>This year, the Church celebrates 20 years since Pope Saint John Paul II declared Padre Pio a Saint. To mark this occasion, the Diocese of Down and Connor has arranged for the relics of Saint Padre Pio to be brought to St Peter\u2019s Cathedral, Belfast, All Saints\u2019 Church, Ballymena and St Patrick\u2019s Church, Downpatrick from 6th -11th November. The relics are being brought across by the Saint Pio Foundation<\/a>. All are welcome to come along to venerate these relics of St. Padre Pio and to join in public and private prayer. It will also be possible to remotely join online through the web-streaming of the various services.
