BREAD OF LIFE <\/strong><\/span>Jesus manifested Himself as the Food that lasts forever. He revealed that He is the Bread of Life, Bread that never gets finished. Out of only two fish and five loaves of bread, Jesus feeds a mammoth crowd, who among them were a whopping five thousand men. This was a miracle. What human beings can\u2019t comprehend we call it a miracle. Jesus looked up to heaven and blessed the loaves and fish the same way He did during the Last Supper when He said, \u201cTake this all of you and eat it, for This is My Body.\u201d Today we are celebrating the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ, The Corpus Christi. We celebrate the Transubstantiation of the Bread and Wine offered at the alter into The Most Holy Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ. We always do this during the Liturgy of the Eucharist. The Body of Christ is Placed in the Monstrance and is exposed to the general public through a procession in the streets. Jesus instructed us to remember Him during the Holy Eucharist by eating His Body and drinking His Blood. Through this, we will dwell in Jesus and He will dwell in us and we will be raised on the Last day.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, I love You, trust You and believe in You. Forgive me of my sins so that when I receive Your Body and Blood, I may live in You and You in Me forever. Amen<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Holy Child P7 Leavers\u2019 Mass <\/span><\/strong>Thursday 23rd June at 1.30pm<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The fiftieth anniversary of the death of Fr Noel Fitzpatrick<\/strong> <\/span>occurs on 9th<\/sup> of July 2022.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To mark this anniversary, Bishop Treanor will celebrate Mass at 11am on Sunday 3rd<\/sup> July at St Peter\u2019s Cathedral.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Friday 8th<\/sup> July, the family of Fr Noel wish to invite you to Mass in St MacNissi\u2019s Church, Magherahoney (Parish of Loughguile) where Fr Noel is buried.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mass at 7.30pm will be followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall where photographs and items related to Fr Noel will be on display.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

All are invited to participate in these two events.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
