QUB Chaplaincy Golden Jubilee Ball <\/strong><\/span>The Catholic Chaplaincy at Queen\u2019s University will celebrate its Golden Jubilee with a Gala Ball in Belfast City Hall, to take place on Friday 10 June at 7pm. A drinks reception will be followed by a four-course dinner with wine, and dancing to live band MOJO. The evening promises to be the highlight of this year\u2019s social calendar, giving Queen’s Chaplaincy alumni, across generations, a wonderful opportunity to catch up and share memories with old friends. Sr Paschal Mc Meel<\/strong>, <\/span>who for 55 years was a sister & abbess at the Poor Clare monastery on the Cliftonville Road until its closure in 2012, went home to God in the Poor Clare Carlow monastery on 8th May 2022. The month\u2019s mind Mass for Sr. Paschal will be celebrated in the Sacred Heart Church, Oldpark Road, Belfast at 12 noon on Saturday 4th June. Celebrant will be Bishop Donal McKeown. Sr Paschal was much loved and respected in Belfast and beyond. Blessed with a wonderful personality, she made numerous friends throughout her life taking all their worries and anxieties to the Lord in prayer.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
