SPECIAL COLLECTION FOR UKRAINE <\/span><\/strong>The total  amount  that was collected for Ukraine amounted  to \u00a312,600!!<\/strong>  This is an amazing amount! Thank you all so much for  your kind generosity.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Face Coverings <\/span>The Diocese strongly recommends that face coverings be worn at all times while in the church and throughout liturgical celebrations, even when seated.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

 N.B<\/span> Obligation to attend Sunday\/Holyday Mass: With the easing of Covid-19 restrictions, it is encouraging to see a return to a fuller liturgical life in our parishes. Thankful that we can once again gather as communities of faith, the Irish Bishops have announced that attending Mass on Sunday and Holydays of Obligation will from Easter Sunday (17th April 2022) once again be deemed an essential expression of faith. As always, those whose health is vulnerable or who are unwell will not be under any obligation to attend Mass.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

SYNODAL LISTENING IN OUR PASTORAL COMMUNITY<\/span>. In order to journey together, Pope Francis wants every person to take their place at the heart of the Church and to hear every voice and the voice of the Holy Spirit. Our local parishes are encouraged to come together, pray together, and enter into a Spiritual Conversation about our Church at this time. Bishop Treanor has encouraged each area of the Diocese to have a time of coming together as part of the Synod. Coming together to listen and share helps us build flourishing and resilient communities for the mission of the Church today. We invite you to come along and take part in the synod by listening and talking to one another in an authentic, meaningful, and welcoming way. If you would like to take part in this synodal moment then please feel welcome to join us on Palm Sunday, 10th April from 3pm-5pm in the Hannahstown Community Centre. The session will be facilitated by the Living Church office.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
