Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land<\/b><\/p>\n
On Good Friday Catholics throughout the world take up a collection to support Christians living in the Holy Land.\u00a0 We are all aware of the horrific suffering of Christian communities in the region and throughout the Middle East.\u00a0 Pope Francis has also drawn our attention to their plight, their dwindling numbers through war and persecution and to the suffering of those, including children, who have had to flee their homeland and who suffer in refugee camps.\u00a0 We ask you for your generous support and charity for this year\u2019s Collection for the Holy Land.<\/p>\n
