GUIDELINES FOR ATTENDING MASS IN AGNES’<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Face Coverings are mandatory when entering and exiting the church<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0The seating capacity of the Church is 120-150<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Observe social distancing and use the sanitizer at the Church Entrance;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0When leaving the Church follow the instructions and leave according to the indicated \u201cOne-way\u201d system;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Anyone with cold-like symptoms must not enter the Church;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Those with under lying health issues are advised to remain at home.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Archbishop Eamon Martin and the other Church leaders in Ireland invite all people of goodwill to join them in prayer during the Service of Reflection and Hope which will be broadcast live from St Patrick\u2019s Church of Ireland Cathedral, Armagh on RTE and BBC television networks on Thursday, 21 October 2021 at 11 a.m.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

PARISH HALL<\/span>\u00a0\u00a0We are delighted to announce that our Parish Hall ( 10a St Agnes Drive ) will re-open from Monday 1st November 2021, and we welcome back all our Parish Groups and classes.<\/span><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

NOVEMBER DEAD MASSES<\/span> Letters will be sent out\u00a0 to all those who lost a loved one since November 2020 and who have already had the month\u2019s mind Mass for their family member.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two masses this year again; MON 8th & MON 15th NOVEMBER 2021 @ 7 pm.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Saturday 16th<\/span>\u00a0October 2021 at 5.30pm St Peter\u2019s Cathedral with Bishop Treanor<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

This weekend Pope Francis opens the pathway for a Universal Synod that will take place in Rome in 2023.\u00a0 This Synod will be a gathering that takes place after all the local Churches have shared their contribution on the experience of journeying\u00a0\u00a0together in Communion, Participation and Mission.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

In our Diocese, of Down and Connor, we will have a time of listening and sharing prayerfully through Advent.\u00a0 During this time there will be an opportunity for you to share your experience of\u00a0what it is like to be a part of our Church today.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

World Mission Sunday<\/span> will happen on 24 October and is the one day in the year when every parish, in every diocese celebrates mission and being part of a global family. Coordinated by Missio, it is a moment of grace to express solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Christ who are living in situations of poverty, violence and oppression.\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>In his message for World Mission Sunday, Pope Francis says: \u2018With Jesus, we too have seen, heard and experienced that things can be different\u2019. God wants a life of hope, peace and harmony for all his children and continues to seek out those who will bear witness to his love, mercy and forgiveness<\/i>.<\/i><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
