Masses<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n

Masses<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/span>are continuing on our normal schedule and we thank those who have been coming to clean the Church seats and carpets.\u00a0 We also thank those helping to facilitate the congregation in following the present health procedures.\u00a0 Those attending Mass must also be complimented on how they follow the procedures – especially the one-way system to enter and exit the Church and the row-by-row Holy Communion procession. Please use the Hand Sanitising stations provided at the entrance and exit and other points throughout the church.<\/span>
\nAs those attending Mass will be aware, more volunteers are needed to help out both at Masses and with the cleaning of the Church.\u00a0 Those willing to assist are asked to give their names to the sacristan or to the Parish Office.<\/span><\/h4>\n

SACRAMENTS AND CEREMONIES UPDATE<\/b>\u00a0<\/span>Funeral Services and Requiem Mass in the presence of the deceased, with numbers according to the capacity of the Church which is\u00a0120\u00a0<\/span>people and\u00a0 whilst observing social distancing regulations.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Weddings\u00a0can be held indoors, with numbers according to the capacity of the Church,\u00a0 and with social distancing observed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Baptisms\u00a0: We have resumed baptisms one at a time. Please call or email the parish office with your request for baptism ( 2nd & 4th Sunday of each month) . Thank you for your patience at this difficult time.\u00a0Parents and Godparents only at this time, and with social distancing observed.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

PARISH OFFICE<\/span>\u00a0<\/b>wish to advise parishioners that where possible, we will ask you not to enter the parish house\/office to protect us and you. If you do need to enter the parish Office, we will ask you to please wear a mask and you will also need to sign in and leave your details for track and tracing purposes. This also applies for those entering the Church.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

FACE MASKS \u2013 DIOCESAN ADVICE\u00a0<\/span>Following the recent Diocesan statement formally recommending the use of face coverings by all those attending Liturgical Celebrations, please note the following advice: – by wearing a face covering correctly, you are helping to prevent transmission of the virus – wash or sanitise your hands before putting on the mask and as soon as possible after removal – make sure the mask covers your nose, mouth and chin – avoid wearing on your neck or forehead – avoid touching the front of the face cover and only handle the straps or ties when removing – you do not have to wear a face covering if under the age of 13 and in cases where wearing a face covering may be difficult It is important for us all to remember that the reasons for not wearing a face covering may not always be visible.
