It has become increasingly clear that the wearing of face coverings, in conjunction with hand washing etc, is likely to reduce the spread of Coronavirus, thus helping to protect others. Preparation for Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion<\/span><\/strong> The Catechetics Council of the Irish Bishops Conference are producing a series of resources which would be very useful in the preparation of children for First Holy Communion. They will consist of three movie episodes (30mins each) with an accompanying worksheet. Episode 1 has already been uploaded and the remaining episodes will be uploaded as they become available. Episode 1: Preparing to Celebrate the Eucharist \u2013 Sacrament of Reconciliation The sacrament of Reconciliation (or as some call it \u2018Confession\u2019) is the focus for this first lesson. These series of resources could be used by parents, schools or parishes in preparing children for First Holy Communion and could form the foundation for a short refresher programme for children who will be making their First Holy Communion over the next few weeks.
