Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise collection amounted to £2770.00

THE WEST BELFAST PASTORAL COMMUNITY are hoping to run a coach to the RDS in Dublin for the World Meeting of Families Congress and to the Papal Mass in Phoenix Park. The only way to guarantee a ticket to the Papal Mass on Sunday 26th August is to attend one of the days of the Congress on either the 22nd, 23rd or 24th August in the RDS, Dublin. A day ticket to the Congress in the RDS plus your coach travel will cost around £50. The tickets for the Papal Mass on Sunday 26th August are free. A TRIP DOWN MEMORY LANE Take a trip down Memory Lane with “Old Time” Arts & Crafts & Stories & Tales of yesteryear. Course runs for 5 Thursdays in the New Parish Centre   ( 10a St Agnes’ Drive ) starting from Thursday 10th May at 10am. The 6th week is a free trip to Cultra Folk Museum. Course is free but a £1 charge towards tea, coffee, scones etc would be appreciated. Contact Colette on 07763531897. All Welcome.

What’s on Locally…

St. Agnes’ Choral Society will host a Ceili in The Balmoral Hotel on Friday 18th May from 7.30pm. Tickets cost £10 which includes your supper also. Tickets can be obtained by contacting Maeve on 07753 222003. This promises to be a great night with a live ceili band and led by caller Deirdre McLoughlin. All welcome.
