 CONFIRMATION Will be celebrated on Tuesday  27th February at 1pm( There will be no 10am Mass that morning ) Refreshments afterwards in Holy Child PS.

FIRST CONFESSIONS: Will take place this year on Wednesday 7th March at 1pm.

ASH WEDNESDAY 14th February. Ashes will given out at  the 10am and 7.30pm Masses. This year’s Trocaire Boxes will be available from this date onwards at Church entrances

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION Saturday 12th May at 11am

NOVENA St Agnes’ Annual Parish Novena to Our Lady Of Lourdes will begin this weekend  Saturday 3rd February at the 6pm Vigilto Sunday 11th February 2018.The preacher will be Fr Brendan Keane.

Novena Mass times: Mon—Fri 10am & 7.30pm. Sat 10th Feb, 1pm ( Mass of the sick) & 6pm ( Vigil)  Sun 11th Feb, 8.30am, 10.30am & 12.30pm.

NB: There will be no 1pm  Novena Mass (Mon-Fri).

DIOCESAN VOCATION WEEKEND Is God calling you from your family to serve His family?  Have you ever asked Jesus what he wants from you? Perhaps He wants you to serve as a priest in His Church. Take this opportunity to gather with other men who are discerning a vocation to the priesthood.  This retreat will create the time and space to help you reflect on what vocation Jesus is calling you to. LENTEN PRAYER   PLEDGE Many people choose to abstain from alcohol during Lent. Why not take this opportunity to perhaps help yourself or someone you know with an alcohol or drug problem by offering your sacrifice for freedom from addiction?  Please consider taking  the short term Lenten Pledge and make a difference to someone’s life. Register your pledge with local Pioneers and say the daily prayer.

Prayer:“I promise in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary to abstain from all alcoholic drink until the end of Lent.”

Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes Bookings are now open for the 2018 Pilgrimage. Seven nights (10-17 July) £725pps. Five nights (11-16 July) £650pps. Youth Team (8-17 July) £590. Five nights – pilgrims requiring nursing/personal care staying Accueil Notre Dame (11-16 July) £550. LOURDES 2018:  We are currently seeking  nurses (on the NMC live register – working in any area) to join the volunteer staff of the Diocesan Pilgrimage (11-16th July 2018). Human Life International (Ireland) Join with people all over Ireland in the Lenten Crusade for Life. Why not offer up your prayer and fasting during Lent for the Protection of the Unborn? Perhaps you may like to say the rosary each day, do some form of fasting or have Mass offered for the protection of Life.
