ST AGNES’ SENIORS’ CHRISTMAS DINNER: Will be held on Sunday 10th December 2017 in the Ballymac Hotel from  2pm—6pm. All pensioners of the parish who wish to attend please register your name and meal choice (Turkey &  Ham or Fish (Cod) Pavlova or Pudding ) with Kate in the Parish Office 02890 615702.  ( N.B only a few more spaces left )

ANNUAL MASS FOR THE BEREAVED Will be held in St Agnes’ Church on Monday 20th November at 7.00pm, followed by refreshments in the Parish Hall. Whilst the friends and family of those that have died this year will receive a personal invitation, all parishioners are welcome to attend.

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS MASS The Eucharistic Ministers of St Agnes’ are having a Mass offered for all deceased former Ministers in St Agnes’ Church on Tuesday  31st October 2017 at 6.30pm. (Vigil mass for the Feast of All Saints ) On Behalf of the Eucharistic Ministers I am writing to invite family and friends of deceased ministers to join us at this Mass to honour the service they gave. Hidden Pearls Drumalis, Larne – Saturday, 28 October 2017Hidden Pearls is a retreat day for people with learning disabilities, their friends, families and carers.  Led by Maria Garvey and Jillian Gould, it will be a time to recognize and celebrate people’s gifts through sharing stories, music, dance and art.   The day will begin at 9:00 am with registration and end at 4:45 pm and costs £60 per person or £85 when two people book together.   For further information or to book a place(s), please contact 028 28276455/28272196 during office hours (Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm).  Details are also available on the Drumalis website –http://www.drumalis.co.uk

Dromantine offers a day’s reflection on Saturday, 18th November, 2017 for those bereaved after the death of someone close to them.  It begins with registration at 9.30am and ends with Mass at 5pm for those who wish to avail of it.  The day should help people in grief to move towards acceptance of their loss, and free them up to enjoy a fuller quality of life.  The process will be facilitated by two chaplains from Newry hospice, Mercy Sister Fiona Galligan and Presbyterian Minister, Graham Stockdale.  Costs are £30.00 or €35.00.
