Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise Collection amounted to £2887.00

PARISH WEEKLY ENVELOPES   The new envelopes are now ready for collection from the Parish Office Monday to Friday only 9am-1pm. If you are a taxpayer and give your contributions to the Church through your offertory envelope maybe you would consider gift aiding your contribution . If you would like to receive a box of envelopes please contact Kate in the Parish Office. N.B Holy Land envelope dated 14th April ( Good Friday Collection) will start your new box.

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL The Pastoral Council would be pleased to welcome some additional members. If you are interested in joining please leave your name and contact details in the Parish Office. Next meeting Monday 24th April at 7pm ( Rosnaree )

MORNING PRAYER OF THE CHURCH 10am Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. Everyone welcome.

Please note: There will be no 6pm Vigil Mass on Holy Saturday. Easter Vigil 8pm.

FIRST HOLY COMMUNION Will be celebrated on Saturday 13th May at 11am.

Easter Monday Open Day at Drumalis, Larne

Monday, 17 April from 12 noon – 4 pm

The house and grounds will be open for all to enjoy – there will be opportunities for guided tours of the heritage house.  Afternoon teas will be available.  Everyone is welcome – admission is free.  If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact 028 28272196/28276455 (during office hours – Mon-Fri, 9 am – 5 pm)

WMOF DAY Pope Francis has personally chosen Dublin to be the host diocese for the World Meeting of Families from 21-26 August 2018.  Planning for this great national and international celebration of faith is well underway. Hosting this important event requires an enormous amount of planning and funding. In this regard a second national collection will be held this weekend. Your support for this collection would be greatly appreciated. We take this opportunity to thank you for your support for last year’s first national collection.

Me and My Girl St. Agnes’ Choral Society continue their 60th Anniversary celebrations with their production of the hilarious family comedy musical, Me and My Girl in The Grand Opera House, Belfast from 9th – 13th May. Good Friday Falls/Shankill Inter-Church Prayer Walk – 14th April beginning at 4.45pm outside Clonard Church and finishing there by 6.00pm. The walk encircles the Falls/Shankill peace line wall, stopping briefly for a short prayer in Shankill Methodist Church.
