WEEKLY OFFERTORY:£1596.00 Thank you to all our parishioners for your generosity and continued loyalty to St Agnes’ parish. You can make your envelope contribution via the donate button on the Parish website home  page also at  www.stagnesbelfast.com.

 The 7 Joys of Mary, a 4 week reflection on seven joyful moments in the life of the Blessed Virgin Mary, will start on Wednesday 14th October in St Agnes Church at 7pm. All are very welcome.

DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK  Monday 2nd November on the Feast of All Souls. Bus departs from St Agnes’ at 7.30am. Price £30 (includes Tea & Scones) For more information call Pat on 07946917354 or Harriet on 07812098991

 NOVEMBER INTENTIONS

Please remember that during November, there are no weekday Mass intentions. As a result, weekend Masses are likely to be very busy. please book your intention as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.

MASS FOR DECEASED will take place on Tuesday 10th November at 7pm.  Parishioners who lost a loved one in the past year should be receiving a letter of invite in the post soon. There is no need to reply, just turn up on the night to our remembrance Mass for your loved one. Everyone is welcome.

ST MATTHIAS CHURCH – MASS & ADORATION

Monday Evenings
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6.00pm, followed by Holy Mass at 7.00pm.

Friday Mornings
Adoration from 6.00am, followed by Holy Mass at 7.00am.All are welcome to join us.

 

St Oliver Plunkett Parish Mission

To celebrate our 50th anniversary

Monday 12th October – Sunday 18th October

Our plan is to celebrate morning prayer of the Church before the

10am Mass and after, to pray the Rosary. Each afternoon we will celebrate Adoration between 2-4pm with the first hour guided by NET.

At 3pm in the parish hall a Prayer Session will be led by the NET team.

At 6:30pm each night, we will celebrate Evening Prayer of the Church

with a different speaker each evening.

Each day will conclude with a 7pm Mission Mass.

Everyone is welcome. Please come along if you can.

 

 Prisons Week 2026 – 11 to 17 October

Prayer

Lord, you offer freedom to all people.
We pray for those in prison.
Break the bands of fear and isolation that exist.
Support with love your prisoners and their families and friends,
prison staff and all who care. Heal those who have been wounded
by the actions of others, especially the victims of crime. Help us to forgive one another to act justly, show love mercy and walk humbly together with Christ in his strength and in his spirit now and every day. Amen

The Irish National Synodal Assembly takes place on Saturday 17th October – a gathering of laity, religious and priests from all dioceses of Ireland after many years of  listening, discussions and prayer. Down &Connor will be represented by a 7 strong group who, through prayer and discernment, will  make recommendations together to further develop the life of the Church. Please keep this meeting in your prayers on Saturday. May the Holy Spirit move and guide all involved.
