PARISH NEWS…

ROSARY FOR PEACE.

 VATICAN NEWS

Pope Leo XIV has appealed for peace throughout the world. For this reason, the Holy Father will preside over the recitation of the Holy Rosary at the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes in the Vatican Gardens on Saturday, 30 May, at 7.00pm, at the conclusion of the Marian Month.

All people and all Shrines throughout the world, are invited to join him in praying the Rosary. In our Family of Parishes, the Rosary will be prayed at 6.00pm in St Agnes’ & after the 6.00pm Vigil Mass in St Joseph’s Hannahstown.

Our Lady Of Peace Pray For Us.

Down & Connor Diocesan Novena to the Sacred Heart

4–12 June / Feast of the Sacred Heart of  Jesus

It is with great joy as a diocese we celebrate the Novena to The Sacred Heart. The prayers will be available in a booklet you can pick up at Mass from this Weekend. It will also include a piece of scripture and a reflection for each day for those who wish to go a little deeper. The images used in this year’s Novena book are by students from our schools from across the diocese. Bishop Alan’s hope is that this novena will be prayed either individually or together by parishes, groups, schools or families. Even young children can join in with the short prayers!
