PARISH NEWS…

WEEKLY OFFERTORY PROMISE The collection amounted to £1650.00. Thank you for your generous financial support. You can make your envelope contribution via the donate button on the Parish website home page also at www.stagnesbelfast.com

 Children’s Liturgy: Will continue today at the 9.30am Mass. All children from Primary 4 age and upwards are welcome to this special time of reflection and fun. Parental consent forms are available from the Church and can be completed in advance. If you would like to volunteer please contact the Parish office.

Altar Servers: The Parish would like to recruit Altar Servers to assist at weekend Masses. Any children from P5-P7 are welcome to volunteer. Again, parental consent forms are available from the Church and should be completed before training is organised.

TRÓCAIRE GIFTS.The full range of Trócaire Gifts are now available from the  Sacristy. Give comfort and hope this Christmas, with Trócaire Gifts of Change.

Feast of Immaculate Conception will be celebrated on this Monday 8th December @10am & 7pm

SVP CHRISTMAS COLLECTION Will be held this weekend of 6th /7th Dec. Many thanks for your very generous support throughout the year

NATIVITY PLAY Holy Child P3 will present their Nativity Play here St Agnes’ on Thursday 11th December @ 1pm.Everyone is warmly invited to join us for this specialChristmas celebration.

St. Vincent De Paul Parish, Ligoniel are delighted to welcome you all to our annual, “Misa De Gallo,’ (Mass of the Rooster) – Christmas Novena in 2025. 9 days Novena before Christmas 16-24th December at 6am. The annual celebration is beloved by our Filipino Community far and wide, but all are welcome.

DOWN & CONNOR LOURDES PILGRIMAGE 9 – 14 JULY 2026: We are seeking doctors, registered nurses and volunteers to care for pilgrims who need medical, nursing, personal care or assistance to make their pilgrimage to Lourdes possible. New members are welcome for our medical, nursing brancardier (adult male helpers) and handmaiden (adult female helpers) teams. Pilgrims of Hope – 24 Hours for the Lord – Advent 2025. Building on the success of a similar initiative during Lent, the Diocese is organising a special day focused on the Sacrament of Reconciliation in the run-up to Christmas. On Saturday 13th December there will be Confessions in St Mary’s Church, Belfast from 11am to 5.30pm. Visiting priests will be available and everyone is welcome to participate as we come to the close of our Jubilee Year of Hope.

Family of Parishes Penitential Service: This will take place on Wednesday 17th December @ 7pm in the Church of St Michael the Archangel. Priests from our Family of Parishes will be available to hear confessions and help parishioners to prepare spiritually for Christmas.
