REQUESTS FOR BAPTISM LINES, ETC. In order to comply with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, the Diocese is directing that any future requests for baptism, confirmation or marriage certificates must be signed for. Certificates will only be issued to those named on the record or, in the case of someone under the age of 16, their parent/guardian. Certificates can be taken by phone or email, but will not be handed out until we are in receipt of a  signed form. Thank you.

ANNUAL LEGION OF MARY PROCESSION Will take place todaySunday 9th October. The procession leaves St Johns Church, Falls Road at 3pm and will process to St Michael the Archangel Church where there will be a short service of Benediction. Refreshments will be available afterwards. Rosary beads and leaflets provided. All are welcome. Please gather at St Johns Church at 2.45pm

OSTEOPOROSIS?

The National Osteoporosis Society are holding a FREE Information and Networking Event in the Stormont Hotel on 25th October from 6.30pm to 9pm.

All people affected by Osteoporosis are invited to attend and there will be presentations on the evening from leading Osteoporosis Health Professionals from the Belfast Trust.

YOUNG ADULT CONFERENCE Why are You a Catholic Today? Come  along to the Catholic Young Adults conference (18 to 40 ) at Queen’s University Chaplaincy from 9.30-5.30pm on 22nd Oct 2016. You will have the opportunity to meet other young adults and attend Holy Mass celebrated by Bishop Anthony Farquhar. Entrance fee is £10 including lunch and refreshments. Contact 07470459008.

SISTER MARTINA PURDY AT ST ANNE’S CATHEDRAL. Sister Martina Purdy will be the special speaker at the Healing Service in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Monday 17th October at 8pm. Martina was well known throughout Northern Ireland in her work as a BBC news journalist. Then God came calling, asking her to join the Adoration Sisters. Martina says that she now has a spirit of joy and contrary to her past experience is really “ living the dream”. An excellent speaker, Martina will be worth hearing on 17th October. Why not come and join us? Personal prayer and the anointing with oil will be available at the service.
