MISSION MONTH OF OCTOBER
We are once again celebrating the Mission Month of October
Mission Month gives us all the opportunity to reflect on our baptismal call to bring Christ to others, which is a privilege in itself. The gift we have been given, we are asked to give.
Our gift to the world is the joy of the Gospel and our Irish missionaries continue to bring good news to people throughout the world
World Missions Ireland, the working title of the four Pontifical mission societies, organises the Mission Sunday collection in all Churches nationwide.
Mission Sunday falls on the 23rd October. Our theme is “ Every Christian is a Missionary”. We can all do our part in an open, joyful and generous way.

SISTER MARTINA PURDY AT ST ANNE’S CATHEDRAL. Sister Martina Purdy will be the special speaker at the Healing Service in St Anne’s Cathedral, Belfast on Monday 17th October at 8pm. Martina was well known throughout Northern Ireland in her work as a BBC news journalist. Then God came calling, asking her to join the Adoration Sisters. Martina says that she now has a spirit of joy and contrary to her past experience is really “ living the dream”. An excellent speaker, Martina will be worth hearing on 17th October. Why not come and join us? Personal prayer and the anointing with oil will be available at the service.
