EUCHARISTIC ADORATION Thanks to all those who signed up since last weekend. Inaugural Mass will take place on Saturday 25th Jan at 1pm.

FEAST OF ST AGNES To celebrate the Feast of St Agnes there will be a 10am Mass this Tuesday 21st January.

TUESDAY’S CHILD Thank you to all those who contributed to the crib for Tuesday’s Child. The amount raised was £5000.00. All donations are in Aid of Emergency Appeal helping the victims of the genocide in Gaza.

 GRANDPARENTS’ DAY Holy Child P.S as part of Catholic Schools’ week invite Grandparents & family members to celebrate Grandparents’ Day on Wednesday 22nd Jan at 10am Mass here in St Agnes. P4 –P7 Classes will attend.

CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to Anne Friel & Pat Mc Grath who were commissioned as Lay Funeral Ministers at a special ceremony on Wednesday 15th Jan at the Mater Dei Chapel Living Church Premises on the Cliftonville Road.

PARKING Please can we ask you to refrain from parking over gates in St Agnes Drive as this is causing disruption and even distress to our neighbours.

RTE SUNDAY SERVICE 11am this Sunday 19th Jan features a service for Christian Unity involving Fr Martin Magill together with members of the Fitzroy Community and some Parishioners from St Agnes. Please tune in!

Parish Pastoral Councils training:

As we move forward with the reconstitution and formation of our Parish Pastoral Councils (PPC), I would like to invite parishioners interested in becoming part of the PPC to the following information evening.  Tuesday 28th January 7pm -9 pm.  Tea/coffee served from 6:30 pm.  Venue:  St Teresa’s Parish Centre, Glen Road Belfast Tea/coffee served from 6:30 pm the meeting will begin promptly at 7pm This evening session will provide an overview of the context, role, and responsibilities of a PPC. It will also explore the gifts, skills, and qualities required to be a PPC member. These sessions will help those who may be interested in this leadership role to understand what it entails and to discern if this is a role for them in the life of their Parish.
