November anniversary and Month’s Mind Masses Please ensure if you need to book an anniversary or month’s mind Mass during November, we will only do these at the weekend. Masses during the week are devoted to Masses for the dead. Thankyou.

St Agnes Spred Group resumes on Tuesday 1st Oct and runs fortnightly. SPRED offers adults with learning disabilities friendship, spiritual development and a sense of belonging to a parish group. WHAT’S ON…

ST BERNADETTE RELIC PILGRIMAGE. A relic of St. Bernadette will come to St Mary’s, Chapel Lane on 15th & 16th October. This special once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people to experience the gifts and charisms of Lourdes at home.

 

Catholic Chaplaincy at Queen’s University Belfast – Sunday Masses

The Catholic Chaplaincy reopened earlier this month in its temporary premises at No. 42 University Road, offering facilities including a Chapel with daily Mass, study space and Cafe.  More on our programme and services can be found at our website qubcatholic.org.  The first Sunday Mass of the semester takes place this Sunday, 29 September at 8pm (with Choir) in the Canada Room of the University’s historic Lanyon Building.  Our Annual Dedication of Studies Mass takes place in the University’s Great Hall next Sunday, 6 October at 8pm and will be presided over by recent alumnus, Fr Chris Gault OP.  Students, staff, alumni and friends are most welcome to join us as we pray God’s blessing on the academic community at Queen’s for the year ahead.

OUR LADY’S ROSARY FESTIVAL From 5th October—13th October. Our 21st Annual Rosary Procession concludes from St. Johns Church  on Sunday 13th October to St. Peter’s Cathedral 2.30pm. The procession will be followed by Benediction in St Peter’s Cathedral and a Catholic Organisations’ fair afterwards in the Cathedral Hall with refreshments. Fill us with peace, that we may live as brothers and sisters, harming no one.

To mark the closing of the Season of Creation a Prayer Service will be held in St Teresa of Avila Church on Wednesday 2nd October 2024 at 7pm.
