 OLIVER PLUNKETT-Fr Aidan You are likely aware that Fr Aidan is being moved to a new parish; Saul & Strangford at the end of this month. Fr Aidan will celebrate a final Mass at 10am on Wednesday 28th August, there will be tea/coffee and scones and a presentation to Fr Aidan in our parish hall.  parishioners will have an opportunity to say goodbye over a cup of tea in the parish hall afterwards.

CONGRATULATIONS to the young people of our parish on your recent exam achievements. May the Holy Spirit guide you in your choices for the future.

PARISH HALL The senior Group will return on Wednesday 4th September at 10am . We are looking forward to seeing everyone again. All welcome.

We will also be holding cooking classes starting on Thursday 3rd October until Thursday 24th October 10am-12.30pm. . Please all come along and bring a friend.

NOTICE  There will not be any 10am Masses on these dates:

Monday 2nd September-Thursday 5th September. 10am Mass will commence again on Friday 6th September.

CARAVAGGIO’S PAINTINGS AT THE ULSTER MUSEUM A reminder that the Two famous paintings by the artist Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio (‘The Supper at Emmaus’ and ‘The Taking of Christ’) are still on display in the Ulster Museum. The exhibition continues until 1st September 2024, at the Ulster Museum. Admission is free, and you do not need to book. The paintings are well worth seeing. 

ST BERNADETTE RELIC PILGRIMAGE. A relic of St. Bernadette will come to St Mary’s, Chapel Lane on 10th & 11th October. This special once in a lifetime event will provide an opportunity for people to experience the gifts and charisms of Lourdes at home
