CONGRATULATIONS  to the children of Holy Child Primary School who made their First Holy Communion last weekend.  Please keep them in your prayers in the coming weeks and months.

 

Meditating with Mary in May is a programme that allows people to pray with art and sacred scripture by reflecting on the life of Our Lady.   It was delivered in our parish last year and proved very popular. The session will continue again on 21st May @ 7.30pm in St Agnes’ Church. Everyone welcome. 

 

Parish Hall  The Senior group  meet every Wednesday after the 10am Mass for a coffee and Chat. Why don’t you come along and join us. ALL WELCOME!

Laudato Si’ week – ‘Responding to the Cry of the Earth and the Cry of the Poor’ The week beginning Sunday 19 May 2024 has been set aside by Pope Francis to reflect on ‘Care for Creation’ with the theme ‘Seeds of Hope’. It is an opportune time to remind ourselves of the messages contained within the encyclical Laudato Si’ – here is one A/B/C selection ..

A Biblical Walk Through the Mass Training session for Parish Leaders

A Biblical Walk Through the Mass (Edward Sri), explores the roots of the words and gestures we experience at Mass and reflect on their profound significance. The Living Church Office will be holding a training session for parish leaders who would like to deliver this programme in their parish. There is a choice of two sessions to attend: Thursday 30th May 7-9pm (in person) at the Living Church Office 120 Cliftonville Road, Belfast or Monday 3rd June 7-9pm online via zoom.
