Our Parish Penitential Service will take place this Monday 25th March @ 7pm in St Agnes’. Everyone is welcome to this community celebration of God’s love and mercy in preparation for Easter.

 Bishop Alan McGuckian

 We are pleased to inform you that on Tuesday 19th March and in accordance with Canon Law, Bishop Alan presented his Papal Mandate to the College of Consultors and is therefore now Bishop of Down & Connor. As we celebrate the solemnity of St Joseph, Spouse of Mary and Guardian of the Church, we pray, through his intercession, for Bishop Alan as he takes up his ministry as shepherd of the Church in Down & Connor.                                                                                

 

WEEKLY OFFERTORY PROMISE The collection amounted to £1620.00 Thank you for your generous financial support. You can make your envelope contribution via the donate button on the Parish website home page also  at www.stagnesbelfast.com.

 

PARISH WEEKLY ENVELOPES The new 2024/2025 envelopes are now available to be collected from the church. If you are not on the list and would like a box of Parish envelopes please contact the Sacristy or Kate in the Parish Office

 

CHARISMATIC PRAYER GROUP will resume again this Monday 25th at 11am in St Agnes Parish Centre

 

MASS In preparation for Easter there will be an additional 10am mass this Tue 26th March .

 

STATIONS OF THE CROSS The P5 Children from Holy Child will be praying the Stations of the cross Wed 27th March at 1.45pm

 

TROCAIRE LENTEN BOXES Please could you return your Trocaire Boxes as soon as possible to the Church, Sacristy or Office .Thank you.

 

GOOD FRIDAY COLLECTION The annual collection for the welfare of Christians in the Holy Land will be taken up during the celebration of Passion on Good Friday

Good Friday Falls/Shankill Annual Prayer Walk – will take place on Good Friday 29th March beginning at 4.45pm in front of Clonard Church, stopping midway at Shankill Methodist for a brief prayer, and returning to Clonard by 6.00pm. All are welcome as we commit ourselves once again to the ministry of reconciliation, in the footsteps of Jesus of Nazareth, who gave his life for everyone on this day.
