POPE FRANCIS’ COLLECTION FOR UKRAINE On Sunday, 3rd April, the Holy Father called for an extraordinary collection in support of those suffering the consequences of violence in Ukraine. This collection will be taken up in Catholic churches throughout Europe on Sunday, 24 April to express the solidarity and concern of Pope Francis and the Catholics of Europe with those suffering in Ukraine.

ST. OLIVER PLUNKETT PARISH in Lenadoon is celebrating its 40th Anniversary with a nine-day Parish Mission of Mercy which will start on Saturday 16th April and finish on Sunday 24th April. The Mission will be led by two Dominican preachers, Fr. John Walsh and Fr. Ciaran Dougherty. There will be a Mass every morning at 10.00am and a Rosary Ceremony with Benediction every evening at 7.00pm. There will be different themes each day including Remembering our Dead, The Forgiveness and Mercy of Christ and The Healing Touch of Christ the Merciful. Visitors are particularly welcome. BETHANY BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP is a parish based group ministry which aims to help those bereaved and grieving. Support is offered on an individual basis in the home, to groups in drop-in centres, by phone calls, by helping at funeral liturgies and remembrance services.

INTERDENOMINATIONAL DIVINE HEALING MINISTRIES will be hosting an interdenominational service at Good Shepherd Church, 511 Ormeau Road, Belfast on Tuesday 3rd May at 7.30pm. The former BBC journalist Sr. Martina Purdy will be the main speaker and will share on her journey of faith. Worship will be led by the music group from West Church, Bangor. There will be opportunity to receive personal prayer ministry at this service. Everyone is welcome to this service of hope and healing.
