SEASON OF CREATION SERVICE

Thank you to everyone who helped organize the Season Of  Creation Service  on  Wednesday evening. A big thank you to the local Schools , Holy Child  Primary School,  St Genevieve’s High School , &  De  La Salle College who contributed to the display. And to all those who attended from across our Pastoral Community.

COOKING Do you live alone and find it difficult cooking for one on a budget? St Agnes are having a batch cooking class on Thursday 12th & Thurs 19th October  from 10am –12pm in the Parish Hall. All ingredients supplied. Everyone welcome!!

COMMUNITY SAFETY EVENT As we are now entering the winter period with darker nights St Agnes’ Seniors are having a free Community Safety Event on Thursday 26th October from 10.30am-12pm. Safety equipment and information available.

THE SEVEN JOYS OF MARY Every Wednesday in October at 7pm St Oliver Plunkett Parish Hall The programme will provide an opportunity to reflect the Seven Joys of Mary and will conclude with a decade of the Scriptural Rosary. Please join us. Everyone welcome.

TROCAIRE is looking for people to join our team of Christmas fundraisers to help respond to the urgent need of poor communities around the world, including the millions of children and families caught in conflict across Ethiopia, South Sudan and Ukraine. You can take action and make a difference through a range of activities, including the promotion of our Gifts of Change – training and support will be provided. The Pro Life Campaign National Conference 2023 takes place on Saturday, 14th October in the RDS Concert Hall in Dublin, featuring top pro-life speakers from home and abroad. It’s a terrific opportunity to meet with other pro-life supporters from across Ireland and there will be lots of interesting stands and workshops at the event. SYNOD 2023 The Synod has opened in Rome this week. Let us pray for all of the delegates from across the world, who will take part. May the Holy Spirit guide their work.

The festival ends this Sunday with the 20th Rosary Procession from St John’s to St Peter’s Cathedral commencing at 2.30pm.
