Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise Collection amounted to £2322.00

NEW PARISH CENTRE – Renovation work has commenced on our new Parish Centre and we are hoping it will be in use by the beginning of October.

ST AGNES’ YOUTH CLUB – Would like to thank all those who donated to the Refugee collection on Saturday 12th September. Thank you for your generous support from staff, parents and members of St Agnes’ youth club (south green).

THE APOSTOLIC WORK Will be having their Annual Church door collection on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October. Your continued support is greatly appreciated.

THE GOOD SHIP LOLLIOP — APPEAL FOR CHILD REFUGEES.  The Belfast children’s charity Tuesday’s Child is working with catholic missionaries in Sicily to help child refugees rescued in the Mediterranean. Funds will go towards providing essential aid items and care for children, young people and their families and helping high risk children who come in unaccompanied on the boats. Tuesday’s Child gives 100 % donations received plus gift aid. MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING Will be held this coming Wednesday 23rd September in St Agnes’ Parish Centre after the 10am Mass.

VOLUNTEER MENTORS REQUIRED to help essential skills maths/ English students who require extra support.  This is an ideal opportunity for a retired teacher who would like to give something  back and support and provide mentoring to an adult learner who is returning to education.  This is also an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers, youth workers or support workers who would like to gain invaluable experience and make a real difference.   We are looking for someone who is knowledgeable and proficient in either English or Maths,(preferably with at least a level 3 qualification) who has a very positive attitude, excellent communication skills, flexible, patient and supportive. 2 hours per week approximate commitment for one academic year. Mentors must be willing to take access ni vetting.
