Jubilarians 2015 We would like to offer a huge congratulations to Very Rev Harry Carlin and Very Rev Peter Owens on their respective jubilees, golden and silver. Fr Harry was ordained on 12th June 1965. Fr Peter was ordained 7th October 1990. May we convey a heartfelt thanks for all their service throughout the years- long may it continue.

Cake Sale.  This Saturday and Sunday  13th and 14th of June, cakes and desserts will be sold after all masses. This is in aid of a Diocesan Youth Pilgrimage to Bobbio in Italy this Summer, which will follow in the footsteps of St. Columbanus on his 1400th anniversary

SONGS OF PRAISE is coming to Holywood Parish on the 27th & 28th June. The BBC will record a programme for their new series and would like local choirs to participate in this wonderful event.  Dr Gregory Skibinski of St Anthony’s Parish will co-ordinate under the direction of John Anderson of BBC.  Pre-rehearsals will commence on the following dates: Tues 16th June, Fri 19th June & Tues 23rd June at 7.30pm in St Colmcille’s Church, Holywood. Also, there will be a commitment to rehearsing with the BBC Team on Sat 27th June (3hrsonly). The recording will take place on Sun 28th June. CELEBRATING THE YEAR OF ST COLUMBANUS Diocesan Pilgrimage to Luxeuil, Bregenz, St Gallen & Bobbio To mark the Year of St Columbanus, Bishop Noel Treanor will lead a Diocesan Pilgrimage to sites associated with St Columbanus – Luxeuil, Bregenz, St Gallen and Bobbio — 24th -31st August.
