Annual Legion of Mary Rosary Procession: On Sunday 5th October 2014, The procession leaves St Johns Church, Falls Road , at 3pm and will process to St Agnes Church where there will be a short service of Benediction. Refreshments will be available afterwards. Rosary beads and leaflets provided. All are welcome. Please gather at 2.45pm.
Due to the reduction in the number of priests serving here in St Agnes’ from two to one, certain changes will be unavoidable. One of the first of these is the cessation of the 8.00am Mass Monday to Friday: The last 8.00am Mass will take place on Friday 26th September. As you know, up to fairly recently there were three priests in St Agnes’, then there was a reduction to two and now finally to one””now more than ever priests and parishioners need to work together in a spirit of mutual support and care.

Festival of Flowers: To celebrate the 5th Centenary of the birth of St. Teresa of Avila\ (28th March 1515) A Festival of Flowers, based on her life and work will take place in the Church of St. Teresa of Avila, Glen Road, Belfast, from the 11th-13th October 2014 (11am-4pm) Everyone welcome. Refreshments available in the Parish Centre.
Healing from Depression. The well-known radio presenter Lynda Bryans will be speaking at a special service of healing in St Anne’s Cathedral , Belfast on Monday, September 29th at 8pm. Her theme will be ”˜Healing from Depression’. Worship will be led by West Church Bangor Music Group. Personal prayer for healing and a blessing with oil will be offered. Everyone will be very welcome to this service.
Cancer Focus NI. Are in real need of help with bucket collections and gift wrapping in Victoria Square, Belfast . We would like to hear from anyone who has a couple of hours to spare on the following date, Saturday 25th October— collection, and any day throughout December – gift wrapping. St Anne’s Parish Pastoral Council. Classic documentary film screenings in St Anne’s Parish Centre opening performances Friday October 3rd at 7.00pm . Film 1:John the 23rd, Man of the Century (1990) and Film2: Malachy of Armagh (1982. Narrated by Cyril Cusack) Doors open 6.30. Films commence at 7.00. Admission is free, tea and coffee will be served.
Mercy Prayer Centre provides am opportunity to deepen your relationship with God through scripture prayer and silent adoration. Monday 11am Lectio divina, 2pm intercessory Prayer , Tuesday 2-4pm Silent Adoration, Wednesday 8pm we prepare Sunday readings. Everyone welcome.
Free hearing-aid clinic. Do you wear an NHS hearing aid or know someone who does? Action on Hearing Loss runs a free drop-in clinic at Harvester House, 4-8 Adelaide Street, Belfast. The clinics are running over the coming months on Thursday 9th October from 10am —12pm. Also Thursday 13th November and Thursday 11th December. If you’re having trouble with your hearing aid, need new batteries (they are free), need the tubing changed, or just need some information, come along and talk to our trained Action on Hearing Loss volunteers.
