A Trócaire door collection to support the people of Syria and the Philippines will be taken up at all Masses this weekend. Your support will help to get food, water, clothing, shelter, medical and psycho-social supports to those most in need.

St Agnes’ Annual Seniors Christmas Dinner is on Saturday 14th December at 2pm. All pensioners of the parish who wish to attend please register your name with the Parish Office before Friday 5th December.

St Vincent de Paul Christmas cards may now be purchased at the Sacristy or Parish Office. A selection of 10pack Christmas Cards are available for £2.50.

The SVDP Giving Tree received a great response from St Agnes’ last year. This year the Giving Tree will be placed in the Church on next weekend and will remain until Thursday 19th December. We would ask that presents be left under the tree unwrapped. Thank you for your continuous generosity and support.

Advent Solemn Rosary – Preparing for Christmas. Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, Recited Rosary with hymns, and Solemn Benediction. Every Thursday during Advent at 7:00pm, St Agnes’ Church. All welcome.

Advent Day Retreat at Mercy Prayer Centre,  2A Fruithill Park. Facilitated by Fr P. O’Rourke, SMA. Theme: Prayer. Monday 2nd December from 10.30am-4pm. Booking is essential.

Holy Child Nursery School, 40 Slievegallion Drive, are hosting two Open Afternoons on Monday 2nd December and Tuesday 7th January from 2-4pm. The nursery operates an Open Enrolment Policy and welcomes applications on behalf of all children who will be three years old on or before 1st July 2004.

Holy Child Primary School, South Green, Andersonstown, are hosting an Open Afternoon on Thursday 5th December from 1.30pm. For parents of children starting Nursery or P1 in September 2014. 26 free Nursery places and 110 Primary One places. Pupils are welcome from any parish.

The Nearness of God at Advent. Stop in the middle of a busy weekend for a light-hearted look at Christmas, at life, at God. Led by Breige O’Hare in Clonard Monastery, 30th November, 10.30am-3.30pm. St Agnes’ Choral Society present their Annual Christmas Concert in Falls Bowling Club (Fruithill) on Fri. 6th December. Songs from various musicals as well as Christmas favourites. Tickets £10 available from Pat Butler tel. 90618842.

Old Time Bazaar and Christmas Fair will be held in St Gall’s GAC, Milltown Row, Falls Road on 8th Dec. from 1-5pm.

De La Salle College presents “ Stars in Yer Eyes” on Wednesday 27th November. Doors open at 7pm and the show starts at 7.30pm. Tickets are £3 each; Family/Group ticket ( admits 4 ) will be £10.

St Dominic’s G.S. Christmas Fair will take place on Wednesday 11th December from 7-9pm. Admission is £2. Free admission for children. Venue: Study Hall. Special guest.
