DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK Join us by offering a one day pilgrimage to Knock in honour of St Joseph on his Feast Day 19th March 2019. The bus leaves opposite St Agnes’ Church at 7.30am sharp and returns approximately 10pm. Cost £15, bring a packed lunch. Contact Pat 07946917354 or Harriet 07812098991.

LENTEN PIONEER PLEDGE Many people choose to abstain from alcohol during Lent. Why not take this opportunity to perhaps help yourself or someone you know with an alcohol or drug problem by offering your sacrifice for freedom from addiction? Register your pledge with local Pioneers and say the daily prayer.
PRAYER:”I promise in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary to abstain from all alcoholic drink during Lent.”
TROCAIRE BOXES are now available at the entrances to the Church; please take one home with you.

Fasting: From TV, computer games and social media, from chocolate, sweets or alcohol, from the clenched fist –complaining, gossiping, foul language from meat every Friday (and maybe Wednesday) Almsgiving: Give your time to a voluntary group in our Parish. Place a Trocaire box in a prominent place in your home. Donate to St Vincent de Paul after Sunday Mass.
ANAM CARA Monthly Parent Evening for bereaved parents on Wednesday 11th March at 7.20pm in the Crowne Plaza Hotel. This event is free and open to all bereaved parents regardless of the age your child died, the circumstances of their death, or whether their death was recent or not.
