WEDNESDAY 4TH MARCH Decon Greg Mc Guigan will lead an hour of Adoration, Prayer and Reflection on.. THE EASTER TRIDUUM (Holy Thursday, Good Friday & Holy Saturday) A Short Journey through the Mystery. This will be held in the Church.. All Parishioners are invited to attend.
DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK Join us by offering a one day pilgrimage to Knock in honour of St Joseph on his Feast Day 19th March 2019. The bus leaves opposite St Agnes’ Church at 7.30am sharp and returns approximately 10pm. Cost £15, bring a packed lunch. Contact Pat 07946917354 or Harriet 07812098991.
LENTEN PIONEER PLEDGE
Many people choose to abstain from alcohol during Lent. Why not take this opportunity to perhaps help yourself or someone you know with an alcohol or drug problem by offering your sacrifice for freedom from addiction? Register your pledge with local Pioneers and say the daily prayer.
PRAYER:”I promise in honour of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and with the help of the Blessed Virgin Mary to abstain from all alcoholic drink during Lent.”

The Consumer Council is holding its fourth annual Consumer Parliament on Friday 6th March 2020, 10am to 2pm. The free event is to help consumers in Northern Ireland learn about their consumer rights, how to manage their household bills and how to save money. The event is free to attend and a hot lunch is provided. It is being held in Assembly Buildings Conference Centre, Belfast. Womb with a Window This book written by Monsignor Antony Perumayan will be launched on Saturday 22nd February 2020 after 6.30pm Mass at St Paul’s Church, 125 Falls Road, Belfast. This book is a timely consideration because in a so called ‘throw away culture’ one could easily forget to recognise and acknowledge the personhood of the unborn. The book will be on sale in the Parish Centre in the church grounds.
ST MICHAEL THE ARCHANGEL PARISH There will be 7.00am Mass in St. Michael’s each weekday (Mon-Fri) during Lent.
The annual Day of Prayer for Survivors and Victims of Sexual Abuse will take place on Friday 28 February 2020, the first Friday of Lent. The diocese will mark this day with a Mass in St Patrick’s Church, Donegall Street, Belfast, at 1 pm on Friday 28 February.
VACANCY – HOUSEKEEPER – JOB SHARE [2 POSTS] A Housekeeper vacancy has arisen within The Cathedral Presbytery, St Peter’s Square, Belfast, BT12 4BU. The post is being advertised as a job share arrangement. The post holders will be required to provide confidential, efficient housekeeping and catering services to the Parish Priest and Priests in residence, whilst ensuring a pleasant, safe, welcoming and clean Presbytery is provided to other presbytery workers, volunteers and parish visitors. The terms are based on a permanent appointment of 2 part time officials on a job share arrangement, which will be made up of: • Role 1 – 15 hours per week – 5 hours each day over Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. • Role 2 – 15 hours per week – 5 hours each day over Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. From time to time flexibility will be required in relation to attendance and hours worked, in order to meet the business needs within the parish and provide cover for the job share partner. Rate of Pay – £8.50 gross per hour.
