Some information about Fr Gerry McCloskey who was Parish priest here 2001-09

Fr Gerry arrived in St Agnes’ Parish in September 2001. Originally from North Belfast, he was ordained in 1985.

His first appointment was to the Parish of Saul, Co Down with the additional responsibility of being Chaplain to the post-primary schools in Downpatrick. In 1988 he was appointed to Corpus Christi parish, (Ballymurphy) in West Belfast with the additional responsibility of co-ordinating the post primary school chaplaincies in lower West Belfast and being Chaplain in particular to Corpus Christi College. Whilst remaining on as Chaplain here, he was appointed in 1995 to the Cathedral Parish until his appointment to St Agnes'.
