Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise collection amounted to £2442.00

Thank you for your generous financial support to all our collections.

FAMILY MASS We are introducing a monthly Mass emphasizing the importance of Family Life.  Different generations of families – children, parents and grand-parents – will be invited to take part in the Readings, Prayers of the Faithful and the Offertory Procession. These Masses will be the 12.30pm Mass on the Second Sunday of each month, beginning on 13th October. If you and your family wish to be involved, please contact the Parish Office, the Sacristy or speak to Fr McGlynn.

ONE DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK On the Feast of All Souls, Saturday 2nd November 2019. Bus will depart from St Agnes’ at 7.30am. Cost £15. (Bring a packed lunch) Contact Patricia on 07946917354 or Harriet on 07812098991

DIOCESAN PILGRIMAGE TO LOURDES COLLECTION Would like to thank the Parishioners of St Agnes’ for their kind donation of £1025.00 . This is greatly appreciated, and be assured that you will be remembered in our prayers.

CHURCH CAR PARK While acknowledging car parking spaces are limited for Masses there is no excuse for parking outside of the designated bays as this restricts access in emergencies and has the potential to cause accidents. Please take note and park safely.

After all, it is because of the prayers and generosity of people just like you that hope, love and joy can continue to be shared with the suffering and neglected. SCHOOL OF PRAYER Saturday 19th October, 10am – 4pm at Clonard Monastery. Three forms of prayer will be practised: imaginative Gospel contemplation, praying with icons, and a form of Biblical storytelling called Godly play. Contact 90445950.

The Legion of Mary will be hosting a Catholic Young Adult’s Conference at QUB Catholic Chaplaincy on Saturday, October 19th from 9 am to 5.00 pm. Brilliant talks and workshops on the theme “Call To Sainthood In Today’s World.” Speakers include Fr Martin Graham, Fr Dominic McGrattan, Father Paddy McCafferty, Nashville Dominicans, Patrick & Therese McCrystal, Mary Lewis and Sarah Haire.
