Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise collection amounted to £2722.00

Thank you for your generous financial support to all our collections.

FAMILY MASS We are introducing a monthly Mass emphasizing the importance of Family Life.  Different generations of families – children, parents and grand-parents – will be invited to take part in the Readings, Prayers of the Faithful and the Offertory Procession. These Masses will be the 12.30pm Mass on the Second Sunday of each month, beginning on 13 October. If you and your family wish to be involved, please contact the Parish Office, the Sacristy or speak to Fr McGlynn.

ONE DAY PILGRIMAGE TO KNOCK On the Feast of All Souls, Saturday 2nd November 2019. Bus will depart from St Agnes’ at 7.30am. Cost £15. (Bring a packed lunch) Contact Patricia on 07946917354 or Harriet on 07812098991

TODAY 6 October – Annual Legion of Mary Rosary Procession leaves St. John’s Church at 3.00pm (please gather at St. John’s church at 2.45pm) to proceed to St. Michael’s for an end Service of Benediction and an address on the Rosary. Refreshments will be available afterwards in St. Michael’s Parish Centre. Rosary beads and leaflets provided. All very welcome.

An evening in celebration of John Henry Newman

To mark the forthcoming canonisation of John Henry Newman, the Catholic Chaplaincy at Queen’s invites you to an evening of celebration on his feast day, Wednesday 9th October.  Mass will be celebrated in the Chaplaincy, 28 Elmwood Avenue, Belfast, at 7pm and will be followed by a talk Newman’s Idea of a University to be given by Dr Andrew Meszaros, Maynooth.  Light refreshments afterwards.

Lectio Divina Autumn Programme In the Convent of Mercy on a Tuesday morning after Mass at 10.40am and also a Tuesday evening at 7pm. Contact Pat on 90 614815 or Sr. Claire on 90 602175. Christian Meditation Resumed on Tuesday 24th September in the convent and will continue each Tuesday at 7pm. It will be led by Sr. Frances.
