Last week’s Weekly Offertory Promise collection amounted to £2506.00

This weeks collection ( Green Envelope ) for Needy Parishes This collection was set up in order that the wealthier parishes in the Diocese can assist those parishes in greater need.

Thank you for your generous financial support to all our collections

PARISH WEEKLY ENVELOPES   The new envelopes are now available to be collected from the church. ( Main doors) If you are not on the list and would like a box of Parish envelopes please contact the Sacristy or Kate in the Parish Office.

ST PATRICK’S DAY MASSES THIS WEEKEND Saturday 16th March at 6.30pm & Sunday 17th March at 9.30am and 12.30pm

REMINDER That shamrock will be sold after all the Masses this weekend

BULLETIN NOTICES Notices for the bulletin must be with the Parish Office by 12 noon on a Wednesday to be included in the weekend bulletin. Thank you.

TROCAIRE BOXES Trocaire boxes are available at the Church entrances. Theme: “So now faith, hope and love abide, these three. But the greatest of these is love” (1 Cor 13:13).

PARISH OFFICE Will be closed this Monday 18th March.

Sale of Graves: The Parish of Glenavy and Killead have a limited number of Burial Rights available in the graveyard of St Joseph’s Church, Chapel Road, Glenavy. This is a secluded and well tended parish graveyard in the countryside just outside Glenavy village, 20 minutes west of the city

The burial ground is described as a ‘Graveyard’ as opposed to a ‘Cemetery’ since it is attached to St Joseph’s Church. The cost of the burial right will be similar to that of Milltown Cemetery and reflects that purchasers are not, or are not expected to become contributing members of the local parish community. Each grave will accommodate up to three interments and are priced at £3,000. SPECIAL OLYMPICS Are you free to help the Special Olympics on the 5th April for even 2 hours? Their annual collection day takes place in Belfast at Kennedy Centre 5th April, Asda Shore Road 5th April and Belfast City Centre 5th April, Tesco Antrim Road:  if you are able to support we would love to hear from you.
